I would love to know this too. But i don't think so...

It would have to be some funky button combination if so.

You can bring up the map at will, but it does take a funky button and stick control combination.

Step 1. Hold foward on the left stick.
Step 2. Using the right stick, aim character towards the edge of the arena.
Step 3. While continuing the first two steps, mash the A button repeatedly.

If you follow those steps, you should be able to get the overhead map at any time you want!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this is also the way to destroy all of the enemies on the map, right? as long as you're juiced, follow the above steps and listen to the cries of anguish from the other team. don't be worried if it sounds like laughter, it's really cries of fury.

Having a map to open at any time would be useful in the cases of checking up on both enemy and friendly turrets, and seeing when the Jackbot XL spawned. Wouldn't mind seeing it come up as Dpad left, or something.

Its not really an inconvenience, the couple of seconds you get after death are usually enough to give you a good overview of how your team is doing.

Yes, though as I've stated several times before, we try not to call out exploits like this.

In all seriousness, the overhead map being something people would like to have access to at times when they're not dead is something we know about.

ahh, my bad. i just thought people would like to know of an alternative to the annihilator.

Also in all seriousness, idk if it's been mentioned, but the other day i used the ejector to ring out a gunner, and he used slam in mid air thus giving me an assist, rather then a ring out >_>
