When is the last day to send in money for the pledge amount?

I want to donate $1000 but I won't get the money until October 1st.

The kickstarter will close in about 52 hours, after that it's closed and you will be unable to pledge at that time

Maybe you can do something with Uber, altough it might be unfair to the others. Tough, what if they left the PayPal up?

I hope they keep the paypal up because I'm kinda in the same boat. And when you think about it there is no reason to terminate the paypal just because the kickstarter ended (well, not yet anyway). Unless they are tired of getting money.

Given the idea of 'exclusivity' behind some of the rewards they should let the paypal run for a while but close off the big ones after a few weeks.

If the administration behind it isn't prohibitive there isn't much reason why they couldn't leave all levels up to the $90 digital alpha level open indefinitely. But they just may not want to deal with it.

Yes it probably would be pretty hectic to have to get 'one more shirt' after you are done with processing the physical stuff. However I think that the digital goods could be left open for a while.

Edit: I would like to get a direct answer though.
