What will be John Patrick Lowrie´s final role in Planetary Annihilation?

Back in the days, John Patrick Lowrie did a fantastic job at your Kickstarter Video that proberbly convinced MANY of us to back this game---but hell, till now I wasn´t even wasting a thought on what he´ll be doing for the final game!
This game got no storyline/ nothing that you should call story!

So my best random thought would be that he´d be voicing things like "Prepare for Annihilation" or "5" "4" "3" "2" "1" "Go" or even "CelestrialActivityDetected", "NukeReady", "CommanderUnderAttack", ...
...if that´s the plan, please try to get his wife, Ellen McLain, on board, too!

We could then have the "decision of horror" lying in front of us@every match:
Best female video game voice or best male video game voice...

John Patrick Lowrie was so epic in TA's intro and mission descriptions.
I can still recite the TA intro by heart too~

None probably - just another trick to catch more backers.
Uber stated that the current computer voice is not a placeholder so we can assume there will be no more additional voiceovers.
I am pretty disappointed about this btw. JPL did an awesome job on TA and him voicing the kickstarter trailer sparked lots of nostalgia amongst many of us. I also think that many assumed that he would play a role in the voice acting of this game.

I totally agree. A cinematic intro with JPL narrating it would be the most awesome thing to cross my mind.

Damn, really? Because I'm not a fan of the current voice work. She seems far too bubbly for the whole "annihilation" thing. I can't stand listening to the galactic war intro, she sounds like she's humouring a ten year old, not reporting on a war.

Same here. I think JPL would be the better voice for the GW intro. The current GW voice does not seem to fit well with the game's theme.

Also, the script will need a makeover to accommodate his voiceover. It should include something like "Annihilation is final" or "Only one commander will stand tall."

I think this is the one thing that the entire community agrees on. JPL would be the icing on the cake even if it was just in an intro cinematic.
