I've been playing on a 54 inch Dell, but am thinking about moving to something smaller for the gaming rig I'm building in the corner of my room (Corner Desk + Laptop + TV + Capture Card when completed).

Was wondering what all of you play on? I run turtle beach headsets 100% of the time so I won't need sound systems.

A small Philips TV/VCR that I've had for like 8 years that distorts at the top in a manner that makes it mirror what's beyond the border of the tv. My Xbox comes to just above the halfpoint of my tv's height. That's how small it is.

    I'm broke as a joke.

    But, it works.

My gaming rig. 32" computer monitor for my Xbox 360, and two 19" computer monitors for my computer. I can play MNC on my center monitor, read forum posts on my left monitor, and post replies on my right monitor. Maximum pwnage on all fronts.

I use a 20". Small HD screens are better for gaming but sometimes you just want bigger.

Biggest I would get is a 42" any bigger you will be moving your head to see around the screen

My wittle wiving room when we first moved in.

Right side - 360, Wii, Dell mini w/capture card.
Left - PS3, Gamecube (win), Phone / Battery chargers.

I use a Sony 50" 1080p, but I've got an Element 32" 720p upstairs that I generally like more. I don't have to move my head around as much. Definitely go with a 32" or so if you're gonna be nose-to-the-screen-ish.

Turtle beaches definitely win, but muh lovely girlfriend got me a Sony surround system, so I use that when muh ears hurt.

22" LCD. It seems to do the trick just fine. Wouldn't mind something that could do 1080p, but if it ain't broke don't fix it :D

42" Plasma. I got it for $150 three years ago because it had a big crack in the glass that covered the screen. I just removed the glass along with the entire outer housing and it serves me just fine.

I have a 56" widescreen HDTV. Bought it off Kijiji for 25 bucks (wouldn't power up), dug into it, and found a blown capacitor. 3 bucks and a bit of soldering later, and it's working like a charm :D

I love bragging about my 28 dollar bigscreen

Got a 46" in our bedroom the same way

This is my little gaming corner. I have a 32'' Samsung LCD. This picture is pretty old, since then I got a new xbox, the 20 gig hard drive wasn't cutting it anymore:

I don't need a surround sound system either, I always play with my turtle beaches.

Can you make that image just a tad bit bigger? I can't quite make out what it is from space. :p

Apex 20" tube TV. The only reason I'll take a 20", 70lb tube TV over an HD/flatscreen is the fact that I don't have to deal with graphics lag for games like GH and Rock Band. Makes things easier. Just have to put up with the fact that sometimes the volume up button wants to be the menu button.

I play on a 22" Syncmaster monitor. Since I sit really close to the monitor, it's the perfect size for me. It also has a low response time (2ms), which IMO is the most important thing to look for when buy a tv/monitor for gaming.

Ever since I got my small monitor, I haven't really had a use for my 32" TV, so I now surf the interwebs with it.

Edit: props to Fojib on the 12" tv/vcr combo! Keep on fighting the good fight
