After playing several rounds against a tank that never upgraded and just kept buying juice, I have to say it's one of the most effective strategies I've seen. A juiced tank can decimate the opposition. Turrets, players, bots, everything will be completely annihilated in the wake of a juiced tank rockin' the jet gun. So why bother spending all that extra money on upgrades? Especially when you can make it all back by going into juice mode and f!@#ing up the opposition?
I'm not sure how great of an idea this really is... juice doesn't last you all that long and it's really easy to stop someone with juice by grappling them or hitting them with an attack that launches them (thereby wasting their precious juice).
Buying juice consistently when you have the upgrades you need and your base is properly upgraded is fine. But just buying Juice instead of upgrading is silly. Even while you're juiced a crafty opponent or more than one of them can take you out. This "strategy" doesn't give you enough skills to survive beyond the early game once everyone else starts getting their upgrades.
Seeing as how you only really get $25 per kill, you would have to get 20 kills to get your juice back up(not including turrets and whatnot). So theoretically, that idea only works if their team is stupid.
i play against a lot of stupid teams... I'd at least upgrade your passive, and if there is a lot of turrets the flashbang will keep you alive and its only $150 .
You'll probably only regain much of the juice money if you kill a jackbot, a bunch of bots, or hit the moneyball. Hitting the moneyball you can make back almost all of it
Tank on juice can burn up bots like they were made out of toilet paper, easy money if you do it right. Personally I still think buying juice is just wrong in this game, we should have to earn it and use the juice endorsement if we want it often.
I'm against the feature of buying juice. But if it remains I think it needs some kind of limiter on it, such as a cool down or you can only buy it a certain amount of times per game. The problem I often see is depending on the class and situation once you get into the groove of things $500 can be acquired pretty easily, and repeated juice vender runs kills the chances of the underdog team from making any comeback.
Honestly, just about any class can rip apart a base when juiced. I've done it with sniper, support, tank, gunner, and assassin. Gunner, Assault, and Support are a litter harder to destroy the -whole- turret set up, but I have seen it done without the defending team trying to stop them. And for some reason the Sniper's Uzi is crazy good against turrets when juiced except upgraded rocket turrets. Level 1 still drops reasonably fast.
