What has happened recently?

I have been spending the last few weeks reading and completely oblivious to completely everything technological. What else is happening with uber? I noticed that there doesn't appear to be an HR forum anymore, I guess that failed? If someone or a few people could fill me in, that would be great.

Brad, Garat, Meta, a concept artist, and probs other people got laid off.

I'm very sad too that Garat had to leave... he was my favorite Uber employee. I winked a couple tears too. Not the Cat Herder! Noooo!

Garat did say in the lay-off information thread that he will be sticking around on the forums. Not that often, but he won't be gone for sure. As for the others, nobody knows.
