What does Bacon do?

Besdies being utterly delicious, I was just wondering because I was just looking at me stats earlier and noticed something about how many times I had picked up bacon... or something to that effect.

I have never seen bacon in the game before... I'm so confused

am i the only one who has noticed that it also gives you a slight speed boost as well? i dunno if that was just in my head, but almost every time i get bacon, i speed up. this could be because of speed drops off of the XLs though. just something i noticed.

Speed is an endorsement. Thus when people say it increases all of your endorsements (see previous posts) you are correct.

I know it was said three times in this thread, but to clarify: getting bacon gives you all Gold versions of your existing endorsements for that class, or getting bacon gives you ALL Gold versions of every endorsement?

Every endorsement. If you don't have juice on your assault, pick up bacon and you have gold juice.

that's a horrible example! the juice endorsement only does something after you die, and you lose bacon when you die!

Fine. If you don't have Clip Size for your Sniper, you'll have Gold clip size (and a lot more boolits) up until you croak.
