I know hacking one makes it's range crazy big but what does upgrading it do? Does it just increase the range also or do you go slower while in it? Or does the effect stay longer? I'm not sure if it stays after leaving it's radius though. :|
Ok, thanks. Speed endorsements, shave ice and now I have to test the rock-its and I will destroy that stupid assassin till he buys some juice.
While expensive, ShaveIce + RockIt turrets are an epic combo. ShaveIce + LazorBlazor, while still epic, is a little less epic.
After the patch LazeBlaze will be a but less epic. I'm just planning for the future. I just decide what I have to do to get a rocket turret and shave ice out in time. Like I figured I can get hack 2 make a level 3 lazerblazer and then run and scavange the first kill coins and make a Shave Ice in time for my hack to recharge all in the first minute or so of the game. I'm trying to make myself sound smart cause it's actually very obvious. :?
Despite the turrets saying they have different levels of armor, the juiced assassin pretty much destroys them all like they were made of tissue paper. But I do wish people would build more ShaveIce turrets. Probably the least constructed turret. Less then rockit even. And its the only hope you have to even slow down a juiced Assasin.
Speaking of ShaveIce, their hitbox is all kinds of messed up. I was blasting one while juiced as an Assault, and my grenades seemed to pass right through it. I shifted a millimeter left, and they were hitting it again. Really weird.
Hey Uber guys, can we get Shave Ices to do a really small amount of passive damage to bots? They'd be way more useful and much better as an alternative to blazers and rockets.
I build ShaveIce's all the time. Usually only on nubs that a Sniper doesn't have a LoS on. They are the best deterrent in keeping pros out of your base.
