Scum of the earth in my book.

    EDIT

Seriously though, if you play nothing but *** and your only sense of fun is finishing the game as fast as possible, you have a f_cked up sense of fun.

They don't bother me as much as Assault only players. Good Assassins can turn the tide of a match and even win them almost single-handedly, but Assaults are just more annoying to me. Perhaps it could be that I don't have a counter to a good Assault.

The all powerful melee will turn a decent Assassin into a face-grappling free kill streak. ;)

I meant Assault though. The Assault is my worse class and the one class I don't know what to do against. I especially dread facing other Assaults as an Assault.

I rarely play as an Assassin after the Spunky Cola update, so I don't have that much trouble with an Assassin unless I'm an Assassin and I play against someone like Liefglinde. Then again I try to avoid playing as an Assassin because I'm unlucky enough to end up in laggy matches where I cannot grape someone to save my life. r

    Free kill?

I rarely play against any decent assassin's anymore and even when I do, it's the stupid turtle assassin.

If you only play assassin then I honestly think you've got a little problem. They are the easiest class to kill on most occasions...

My advice would be to keep playing Assault until you have a bit more confidence. Confidence and awareness are generally going to be the deciding factor in who wins an Assault battle. Sure, gunskill helps but with all the tools he has, a smarter player will win most of the time.

If you still can't beat him, my best advice would be to farm his team for kills and keep them backed off so the enemy Assault then has to face you and the rest of your team when confronted.

I think most sin only players don't know how much fun the other classes are to play, I know I didn't. I'm no good with them and can't aim for sh*t but I always have fun with them.

I was an assassin only player. I liked me.

I play other things now, but I started to play all of them at once so I have one class I am comfortable with, and five that I am very situational with

they don't bother me as much, not even juice ones, ill just suicide air strike them. But they tend to think fun is all about winning and they will obviously get my ball down, even if i loose i still manage to look good so it doesn't bother me at all.

Since this is the second thread about this, I'll just type out what I think of each "one class only player" and why I think that. Keep in mind, these are all generalized opinions, don't flame me.

Assassin- Generally the person in CoD or Halo who lacks the gunskill to compete with other players. They're generally found employing the Feedle strategy and dying repeatedly to move the flag a couple feet or grab a quick 2 seconds towards some hill time. They live by the motto "It's an objective gametype, so why kill people?", generally as a mask for their inferior gaming ability. In the setting of MNC, they thrive on the fact that they're able to be useful and win games sometimes without even having to engage another player in a 1v1 setting.

Assault- Your typical "What's your k/d?" player. This is the guy who brags about how many nukes he has or how many kills he got in the Domination match earlier. The difference between this person and the Gunner is that the Assault is a "killwhore", whereas the Gunner is a "slayer". What I mean by this is that the assault can rack up tons of kills, get juice, run away a lot, preserve a killstreak, etc. The problem is that most of these are meaningless kills and in the end his team has not made any progress in terms of map control or winning the game. But boy do those stats look great!

Gunner- This is your competitive minded main slayer. Often times the play-maker or the one in the spotlight. They try to keep everyone on the enemy team dead at all times so the rest of their team can do their jobs more easily. They kill stuff, push up, die, rinse, and repeat.

Sniper- It seems like most "Halo sniper" type players gravitate towards this class. They rely on their superior gunskill and use this to take advantage of a powerful weapon. Multi-kills, twitch reflexes, and flashy headshots are the sniper's claim to fame. This class is given arguably the largest gap in skill and it shows.

Support- This is generally one of two people. Either the "I'm not very good at any FPS, so I play the class with the least impact" player, or the "I'm a decent player, but I prefer troll antics over taking this too seriously" player. The latter generally make good use of their bag of tricks to stun enemy players with the ingenuity of their kills, or sometimes just to induce flat out jaw dropping hilarity.

Tank- Maybe it's my own bias that's prompting me to type this, but I feel the tank is the most unique of all the MNC "personalities". You have the perfect mix of slayer and objective capabilities to fill the ultimate support role. You need to have a deep enough understanding of the metagame, where your team is, when they'll need you, where you should be, and what you should be doing. 90% of the time, you're assisting someone else, and often times it doesn't show up in the stats. So basically, you're the glue or the "finishing touch" on a team. The perfect example would be that a team of 5 all stars and a bad tank will have a generally easy time flat out slaying a team of 5 good players and a decent tank, but the game may last a long time or until overtime because the bad tank can't push in bots, assist on important kills, or just scare away certain classes when they need to be. I feel that a team with 5 good players and an excellent tank would have the edge against 5 all stars and a bad tank because the all star team is constantly just under full health (leaving them at a disadvantage in gunfights), can't effectively push bots, and will have a more difficult time winning the game.
So I suppose that I'm trying to say that the tank is (without sounding too full of myself): The most aware, most intelligent, most overlooked, and above all, most SELFLESS player on the field of combat.

    Dat Jet-Ski taunt.

But really, I'm seeing a lot of people getting pulled into Support because of the shotgun.

I think you got it right with your take on Assassin. I admit that was my problem for a while. I have gotten better

Only annoying to me when a good assassin is host, as backgrappling commonly occurs when I think I'm in the middle of the air, but they have a latency advantage and I'm not in the air on their screen.

I think if the player can play assassin then they can play tank. If they can play sniper then they can play assault or even gunner.

I think that if you played assault and are good then assassin with shruikens is pretty damn good.

Again each class was a combination of tf2 characters mended together.

If you played medic/engineer then youd love support
If you played demoman then chances are you might enjoy assault.

I dont think 1 class heros are the answer though but learn 2-3 classes and branch out.

If you like to kill.. assault, gunner, sniper
If you want to kill bots or help win then tank/assassin/support

Again each class can do things and push
You also got tools to help (turrets, bot spawns, ejectors, analiator)
Hitting the analiator which is usually assassin or assaults role is killing bots.
