So basically I'm just going to post all of my Custom Class' and would apprieciate some feedback. I recognize it is all about personal feel but if there is and endorsment you think would have a greater effect I would love to hear it and will no-doubt try it. (These are listed in the order I play from most to least) Assault Gold: Rate Of Fire Silver: Armour Bronze: Accuracy Tank Gold: Armour Silver: Rate Of Fire Bronze: Reload Speed Support Gold: Rate of Fire Silver: Armour Bronze: Skill Recovery Assassin Gold: Armour Silver: Rate Of Fire Bronze: Speed Sniper Gold: Armour Silver: Skill Recovery Bronze: Accuracy Gunner Gold: Accuracy Silver: Armour Bronze: Rate Of Fire Thanks For Looking Through
Support: You essentially matched mine, but I switched the armor and skill recovery. Primarily, this was for the purpose of air strikes. For the sake of hitting turrets, I've often found it vital that I get them as quickly as possible. Sniper: Why do you need either skill recovery or accuracy? While an upgraded flak is definitely good, I've personally found no need to fire off continuous flaks. That would be why you improve the skill recovery. Accuracy only really comes into play for the SMG, and if you have to rely on that for your damage, you're in trouble. Gunner: I'm glad to see someone appreciates a gunner with level 3 accuracy. I think improving the either the clip size or reload speed would go a long way to helping you. Until I buffed up the clip size, I found myself reloading way too much and resulting in too many inconvenient tags from opponents.
I only looked at assassin and tank, because those are the classes i know extensively, but the assassin is good, maybe try skill or health regen instead of speed, and for the tank, try doing skill recov/speed/rof
Your right on about The skill recovery, Its just because of Flak but the more I think about it I havent really used Flak THAT much recently other than for Turrets so I may switch that to bronze or get rid of it all together. And the accuracy is just for SMG when juiced but I realize that probably isnt necesary. WHat would you suggest to replace those? And I'll Try THose options on Gunner. Great Ideas! I'll try those out and post how it goes
The most common sniper build is RoF Armor X X being whatever you feel like plugging there. In fact, 90% of the builds that you'll see on the board here will feature RoF and Armor in the top two spots. The only exception is Gunner which seems to have a huge preference gap between surviability and outright withering firepower. Tanks also get some freedom from Armor in that their passive really ramps up their survivability at level 3.
Thank you!, I will try that out! Yes i've noticed RoF and Armour have become necessities now that everybod uses them. Because if you do not you will lose most Pro Vs. Pro Battles.
The Assault build is pretty solid, though Accuracy in a bronze slot doesn't add as much as Skill Recovery would, especially given the usefulness of Bomb and Charge. Armor and Rate of Fire in the Gold and Silver slot is swappable, based on your preference, but I would go with Gold Armor and Silver Rate of Fire, personally. The Tank build? There are so many variations on that build, but that one should serve you well. It doesn't have any glaring faults unless you feel that skills don't recharge fast enough. As for the Support build, that's one of the more common builds in use right now, and it's the one I use. No problems here. The Assassin build you have is one of three builds I use, switching out the Bronze Endorsement for others. I use the Speed build for wrecking bots and turrets, but also switch between a Skill Recovery build for all-around usage, and Bolt's Health Recovery build exclusively for combating pros and stayin' alive. The Sniper build, however, I have issues with. If you're going to use accuracy, it'll only help the SMG, in which case you'd want to further augment the build with a clip size endorsement in there, somewhere, preferably in silver, or swap the bronze and silver endorsements. That build is for SMG usage only, though. As Cheesecake said, a vast majority of Sniper builds have rate of fire in gold (once you've tried it, it's difficult to live without it) and armor in silver. You can swap the two if survivability is an issue for you. Bronze slot can be any one of a number of things, but I like zoning and pressuring with traps and flak, so I go skill recovery. You have skill recovery in silver on your build, so I think you may find the adjustment easy to handle, and possibly better in the long run for keeping pros suppressed behind cover. As for the Gunner build, I'm not a fan of accuracy on that class, because I find the spread of the Minigun helpful for providing suppressive fire over a wide area or dealing with erratic movements from pros. I see it as a perk rather than a detriment. I would bump armor and rate of fire up a slot, though rate of fire may not be as useful as we had originally imagined....anyway, bronze slot is up to you, but both reload speed and clip size will help that class immensely. It's up to you which to use. Health Recovery isn't so bad, either, in a bronze slot. Hope this helps!
mintycrys Thank you for posting that it was very helpful and you pointed out some great things, I'll definetly try out your suggestions. Thanks again
Your Support build is a direct copy of what I used to run (see: Guide), which is good, because that's the most well-rounded build of the Support I can think of. Improved Rate of Healing/Hurting, Shotgun with maxed RoF, and always having your skills ready while still having a good chunk of health is pretty much needed when it comes to playing Support.
Try out bronze clip size on the assault instead of accuracy Helps take down gunners and tanks, no need to reload I use skill on my sniper but clip size is nice too, I tend to push the enemy base hard though so I'm always flinging traps and flak I like silver speed on my support, he just moves too damn slow. Sin guide in my sig, worth a look imo if you haven't already.
ROWAN, it honestly comes down to how you are playing the said class. I mainly use two classes, Assault and Tank, and have at least 2 different builds for each both of which are used in different ways. I have a somewhat similar Assault build to yours but is slightly different. Gold Accuracy/Silver Armor / Bronze RoF. Using Gold accuracy means I don't have to pull the left trigger to get a better aim on them unless they are a good distance away. Also I like to use Fly a lot so aiming while doing so is also easier. I am not a big Railgun user so I don't have RoF on my Tank builds. I like to use Charge a lot so I have Skill Recovery in there instead. Gold Reload/Silver Armor/Bronze Skill
Thank you for taking the time to read! I'll be sure to try these out there are some great idea's!, And I'll definetly look at it. I've been looking for an Assassin Guide. Thank you for these suggestion's i'll definetly keep them in mind!, I think The Assault Class' Could Work VEry well for me, thank you again! Well now I know not to change it.
As other's have said, armor and RoF are pretty much necessary for the sniper. I like to roll gold RoF and silver armor when I'm plying randoms, but going against good opponents I'll switch the two and choose my shots a bit more carefully. As for bronze, I've tried pretty everything quite throughly, and I have to say that skill regen is my favorite.
To follow up with your Sniper, I'd suggest adding critical shots. I have no way of knowing if it affects sniping rounds, but I have no reason to believe otherwise. Because headshots on skilled players pretty much doesn't happen, you have to make all the body shots count. Make them fear your existence with those explosive rounds. What you have for your last option is entirely up to you. I work with fire rate to help me take down turrets better, but it's certainly reasonable to want speed, instead.
