I just thought it would be a good idea to ask the community what type of weather maps they would want. Each map would have a specific element. Sunny weather. So everything on my screen is clear. Nothing on the ground. So everything is clear. Probably the same as what they have now... so everything... you got it !
An eclipse would be rather dark, wouldn't it? But I love the idea of enviornmental elements coming into play. Kind of like that train fro TF2.
it would be cool with the backgrounds and such but too much animation like rain or snow could probably cause alot more lag...
Actually the eclipse would be fine. I believe its Steel Peel takes place at night time. All they need for the area are lights to where it looks normal and have the night time in the background and such. Personally I'm waiting to see when they have one in the Jungle instead of a desert or city.
Good idea but my main fear is lag. Maybe sometime more along the lines of "weather hazards"? Buying a strong gust of wind in a lane to push enemy bots and pros back dealing minor damage is the first thing I could think of. Also, I might be a forum organization nazi but I think this might belong in wishlist.
I ****ing hate weather maps, especially rain and snow. Plus, they'd probably cause more lag, and we don't need that.
