Okay so i was playing Pa and two things happened that brought me to this realization. #1: When i go online sometimes it will just say failed to connect to game list and i cant play for a while afterwards. #2 My internet has been cutting in and out lately and until they come fix it I've been playing games offline. I quite like this game but alas i cannot play do to internet problems, so i started playing supreme commander and went on the skirmish mode to set up a little match. "well this is swell."i thought, PA could really benefit from this. Now what i am proposing is something along the lines of the supreme commander skirmish mod (the original not the second games version) where you can choose your maps, (maybe you could create maps in a way that allows you to choose the number of planets and what types etc) setup bots, choose their difficulty, choose your color and various other things. This would help the players mostly by allowing new players to practice before going into online matches and giving people with bad internet and people who travel a reason to play. It may even bump up their sales. Now, what i'm asking wouldn't be too hard would it? All they'd really have to do is take the create game button and have it as an offline option in the main menu. So, hopefully somebody see's this because they really are in dire need of an offline mode.
