The one for sure way i know if your host is walk into gapshots after you spawn them and you can move them... others say spam melee button and if theres no delay you might be host... Also when you quit a game everyone quits or host migration..?!
Play Tank. If the jet gun registers like it's supposed to, you're host. Play Spunky. If you can't do sh*t after about 5 minutes, you're host. During a migration in a lobby, there will be a loading screen. If, when the migration leaves the loading screen, it lists you then loads every other player, you're host. Play Assassin. If your smoke bomb jump fails, you're host. Play Sniper. If you flak yourself to death, you're probably not host.
lol ok ill give those a shot.. also playing assault if you can detonate the bombs in the air all the time with no lag ...then your host
Also, if you have managed to piss everyone off in your lobby and are sitting there by your lonesome ... host. And finally, fire up an online Blitz match of any kind ... host.
You can interrupt your melee animation and start a new one if you melee about 3/4 of a second into it; good sign you have host. If someone is readying really fast in your lobby, the name will flash as fast as they push the ready button instead of just flickering on and off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0RM-NxoRfA - If you pay attention to how Xeno spawns in and how he buys his skills in the beginning, that's a dead giveaway you have host. When the game goes to the host migration screen and it doesn't get past the first second before going back into the lobby loading screen with the tooltips, you almost always have host. When playing Sniper, if you scope in really fast and you can't detect double scopes, triple scopes or half scopes you might have host. When you switch weapons, if the model of the weapon changes before they toss it into the air, you don't have host, also your lagging. When you get a 5 kill streak and the game actually displays "Mega Streak' on screen, you have host. Same goes for the Ultra and Uber Streak. Et cetera.
If you're character talks after upgrading a skill, you're 100% host. ^ I can't believe no one mentioned this.
