You know, you wanna guard your shipyard, for no enemy to even smell it. But, there is water around it... what now? If you won't mind paying more you could build a water version of the normal ground turret... Ain't it cool, huh? And there could even be an air version of a building... You wanna guard your facility, so enemy's melee bots won't hurt it... but how? Walls don't give enough protection and so do turrets. So, again, if you won't mind paying more, you'll build an air version of it...
The unit whitebox Sheets shown in the most recent Livestream should have everything you're looking for; http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... k4#t=3261s Mike
I don't have time to explain 25 minutes worth of content either, but at the beginning they cycle through the Whitebox Sheet images. Mike
I'd think most of the things that give the game more options sounds interesting, tho we must be aware so that we don't make to much buildings and options that actually aren't usefull it will make the game blurry and boring!
Naval buildings are already official. And 'floating' buildings could essentially be the orbital fortresses that people are talking about. Besides, could one not describe orbital as the upgrade to air?
Yes people, but the topic is meant like you have a normal ground building (but not a ground-unit production facility) and you choose to build it as a water/air building. Not special water/air buildings that cannot be built on ground, but ground buildings that can also be built on water/floating in the air... hope you understand now... puga1999
There's already seemingly identical sea versions of many land structures for use at sea. Why is it important that it has to be one icon on the build menu instead of 2?
