Onoz....maybe you'll actually have to find "other" teams to pad your stats off of? God forbid! What they really need is a team option whereby it tries to match up with other teams first.
God forbid people play with a team in a team oriented game. God forbid. I mean, it's not like the update was supposed to fix matchmaking.
God forbid those teams play against another team. Don't get me started on the team game aspect when 80% of the players don't have a mic. Very few people want to put up with a 6 man team with host when they are in a PUG. If a PUG raped you guys 2-3 times in a row I doubt you stick around either
Cute. Seriously though, I'd prefer local stat tracking only (for Protags). I'd much rather compete against actual teams; unfortunately, there aren't nearly enough groups who play together for random match-ups. The update isn't much of a problem when playing in a group of 3-4, which I always did prior to the patch. However, I was under the impression the party fix would allow a group of 5-6 to play together without getting split up. It still happens. :/
Yah it bites that team's still get split. Maybe one of these days devs can come up a secondary wait list for teams so they can still play while waiting for a team notice. ie: Your team signs up for an option for team play (say minimum 4 man team required). Then while your playing PUGS it can give a notice to the team host saying such and such team is available with a 30 second timer to take it (of course a notice would have to be sent to the other team as to why a team mysteriously disappears mid match ;p ). Also on the team screen it could also show how many teams and the # in them that are currently available. That way your not stuck waiting 10-15-30 minutes for a team.
Here is the info I found regarding parties after the update: I don't play in parties enough to know if this is all true or not.
