Wait, is gold armour considered 'noob-ish'?

So I'm reading a few topics and people are flaming other players who use gold armour. Is this true? Are gold armour users looked down upon? WHY!? I relish the challenge of taken down a gold armour assassin.

Not really, people in fact find armor to be nearly indispensable. Assassin is almost universally thought to require gold armor.

In pub matches its very possible to run armorless and do fine, in private matches running armorless is usually a bad idea, but still possible.

I look down on people who are in pub matches facing all new players and still using gold armor.

Who cares? if your killing them then that's all that matters

At least silver armor is a must, gold is preferred by most.

How do you get gold armor? Is it just a cosmetic appearance thing or does it actually help? I don't think I've seen anyone wearing it.

Gold Armor = Gold Armor Endorsement.

You can customize your Endorsement setup when you buy a custom class.
