For awhile I would just launch MNC and for some odd reason most of my volume bars go down to about 5% in my Volume Mixer. I'de just minimize and turn them up and start playing. As of late, however, it's been happening with every loading screen. Just happens to random things in the tray too. Sometimes it will turn down my music player or ventrilo or even things that don't produce sound. I don't really expect a response or a fix, I'm sure I can adjust. Just giving the devs a heads up as I haven't seen any other post about this issue.

I'll try and reinstall my sound card drivers and report back.

    Specs:
    Motherboard: Crosshair IV Formula
Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550 dual core
    Memory: DDR3 PC3-10700 6 gigs
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 1 gig
    Sound Card:On board
Too lazy to list all the hard drives, I have too many, totallying about 6 Terabytes.

Nope, still having the same issues with reinstalling the latest audio drivers (VIA High Definition 6.0.1.8100 and Nvidia High Definition Audio 1.1.13.1).

    *edit*

Ouch, it's doing it every loading screen now, which is incredibly annouying. I would now like or appreciate a response or suggestions on how to fix this, please.

Looks like it's caused by the ingame mic. I don't know how to disable it other than just rebind it to some non-existant key in the .ini file. Seems to have solved my problem for the loading screen variation of my issue. The intial launch turn down still happens but I can adjust to that.

    *Fixed*

The issue was addressed in the latest patch notes (PC Product Update 6 -3/25/11). It happens for Windows 7 users.

Control Panel > Sound > Communications

    Than select do nothing.
