In a way, Costume Quest actually winning something was a highlight of the VGAs, considering the perceived legitimacy of the whole event. A Tim Schafer game being recognized for anything seems rather out-of-the-ordinary for a popularity contest such as that. I still love you, MNC. <3
I think I speak for the entire community when I say that Monday Night Combat was (is) the greatest downloadable game of 2010 and has the most dedicated team that continues to make fans happy .
Thank you all for your support, but Costume Quest is a great game. I would of loved for MNC to win, but any of the other games in the category could of easily walked away with the award.
thats big of you to say. We all know Uber would have LOVED this award - as would anyone. But personally I think MNC doesnt get the attention it needs. It's seriously an amazing game. Depth, customization, balance...its got it all. While Spike doesnt want to award you "best downloadable game", I think we can all safely say that you truly are the developer of the year -- despite the small group and lack of wordlwide attention. You all do something that is sorely overlooked in this industry. You listen. Thanks.
Exactly, Uber is an amazing studio that pays attention to the needs and requests of fans for the forums. MNC has everything, and Uber is always striving to make it into a better game. MNC was they best 15 dollars I've spent. Costume quest is just shallow compared to MNC.
"They had me send in a ballot for the Spike Video Game Awards this year, and it was pretty easy, because I just entered Monday Night Combat for every category, even categories like "Best Performance By A Human Female" (Monday Night Combat) and "Studio Of The Year" (Monday Night Combat). There's free DLC for the game today, a new map for each mode, nestled in a ton of fixes and map tuning. I think thats bs because the people from penny arcade probably payed others off so they can win. Sure costume quest is a good game but monday night combat is the best game!

Yeah, at least you got to get nice and drunk while watching the VGA's live. I truly believe this is an award show that will just continue to get bigger and bigger. P.S. I've already emailed Spike about not announcing certain winners on air. Thats BS.
