Hi team one of the main problems with supreme commander was the memory loop. But it also failed to use all available resources, or even a quarter of resources on a modern rig. Will this new software solve that problem?
It's been confirmed to use multithreading in order to be able to utilize as many cores as possible. Neutrino has also stated he'd like the game to be scalable into the future and that he'd rather not there be a hard limit on amount of planets and unit cap. It'll also be 64-bit compatible, so it should use as much memory as you tell it to. Therefore it should use all resources on a modern (and future) rig.
This was due to the limitations of 32bit Operating Systems. PA supports 64 bit, so shouldn't be a problem.
