Hello, Not sure where to post this, so I'm posting here. I signed up with this username but with a capitalised T, and after noiticing the T wasn't capitalised, I went into my account settings (Not on the Forums) and clicked Edit to change the T to be capitalised. However, this hasn't appeared on the forums nor anything else. Can this be changed? It's a pretty pathetic thing to make a thread about but I'm unsure who to go to, and I would like my Username to be correctly capitalised as I registered it. I've seen some forum users with capitalised User names so I guess this is possible?
Also, since we've tied UberNet to the forums, we have a all lower case naming convention on UberNet (so you don't have two users, say tanksy and Tanksy being two different people). Display names, when in a game, can be updated however you like, but actual account name is limited to all lowercase.
Some people on the forums are still using workaround to not use the ubernet accounts when logging into forums. We'll be closing that workaround soon. You'll know what day it is when a number of people start to yell loudly.
I think I may be one of them. I've never been able to successfully login on the regular page (has drop-down boxes for different account types?). I have to click on one of the forum features that requires authorization and use the subsequent login method.
I don't think so. ooshr32 is a normal UberNet account. If you go to http://forums.uberent.com (say in an incognito session) and get the UberNet login, you are unable to login? We don't use, nor encourage, login via the phpBB login features. They're not supported and are the thing we'll be fully closing off soon.
I find quite often the Ubernet login doesn't save my login state between sessions, it doesn't have a "remember pass/user" option.
Hmmm, well I haven't tried it for a while... ...it worked! You may continue with your loophole closing.
