Will we be seeing larger hills and valleys in later builds? While we do have features like canyons, mesas and oceans there doesn't really seem to be..any kind of terrain beyond specific features. I am guessing this is what is planed for later while we alpha out the engine to get it working?
it seems like that's something that is already part of the engine with the nav mesh. technically, bodies of water are valleys too. I'd just wait a bit. Im guessing at the moment they are getting projectiles working on "flat" ground first. you know, since artillery just shoots into outer space
I hope for this as well, with the updated pathfinding, winding valleys would be really fun to play in. Like Dump from TA but with even more terrain variation. And less reclaimable rape.
