Updating PA on the Mac without Steam?

Ok so I don't have Steam, I got PA right from the website of Uber. I am running it on my Mac but every time it asks me to update the only way I can figure out how is to go back and download the game over again. Delete the old one and put the new version in it's place. Is there any other way for Mac users to update besides getting steam or re-downloading the whole game.

what you do is go to the online store planetary annihilation at planetaryannihilation .com by clicking per order
then there should be something that says login click it then click my keys click planetary annihilation then click
at the bottom of the page but delete the old version before you install the current one
