    PC Product Update 8

    New Features
    Chickey Gear for all Pros
    Added timer countdown to two minutes until end game / Overtime

    Balance and Adjustments
    Changed end game rules so that Overtime only triggers if both Moneyballs have the same health when time runs out. If Moneyball healths are not equal, whichever team has the Moneyball with higher health will win.
    Improved bot waves by increasing the speed of Blackjacks and decreasing the speed of Slims so that the Blackjacks will more often be in front of the slims, allowing them to take the brunt of the damage
    Reduced money players gain from kill streak bonuses
    Increased damage done to players by all levels of LaserBazer Turrets
    Greatly reduced juice given by LazerBlazer Turret fire
    Reduced the amount of damage reduction players get while juiced
    Reduced the fire interval bonus players get while juiced
    Reduced the critical hit multiplier players get while juiced
    All maps now start with two level two Rock-It turrets
    Award players who join a game in progress start money plus round money
    Increased chat character limit
    Removed All-Star display from Lobby and Scoreboard.


    Bug Fixes
    Hit sounds are not played when shooting allied player or when shot by allied player
    Assassin cloak and uncloak sounds now only play for enemy assassins, allies will not hear these sounds
    Chat messages from WebAdmin no longer have [ADMIN] prefix so administrators can better customize the messages.
    Fixed WebAdmin's handling of player names and clan tags with invalid

    Yeah, this is fake. Some of the "changes" give it away too easily. Nice try though.

    Overall, a relatively minor nerf to juice. I thought it would have been a bit more significant. Still noticeable for sure though.

    Looking at LB stats right now: Still probably not worth it.

    Level 3 LB is still significantly worse than a level 1 rocket in every situation. (Less health, less damage against bots and pros, costs more money, and has a larger hit box making it easier to kill from long range or on the move as assault/tank/gunner.) However at least now a level 3 LB isn't going to give massive amounts of juice to the enemy in addition to wasting a nub.

    Yeah there are some great changes in there, sadly my PC is crap and I can't really try them.

    There is one that made me cringe, big time.

    As long as the countdown is noticeable enough, I think it will be fine

    The biggest problem with no-OT servers before was that the game would end so abruptly. With an actual countdown it might flow a bit better

    GJ on ruining the one part of this game that rewards pushing while your ball is down. If you managed to get your ball back up the other team isn't good enough to deserve an outright win in regulation.

    The level 2 Rockit's I'm unsure about, could make players push harder early game which is a good thing, but then that gets thrown out by the fact that if you don't turtle like girl scouts your 99% health money ball could lose you the game.

    Nice to see you adressed nothing that people have been asking for, no proper bug fixes (Blue skill bug?!), no class balance issues (sniper quick-scoping / spam shooting).

    All in all, good job on a terrible update.

    • Write "gg" in chat

    Edit: Awesome job on nerfing juice but leaving the heal you get when activating it in the game.

    Imo, that change just promotes turtling even more. First to do damage then turtle up wins?

    Damn, with these rather game-changing changes, this patch actually feels much more major than the previous one.

    Also a bit puzzled about the overtime rules adjustment but we'll have to see how that plays out. Just hoping it won't end up in long, dragged matches when the victor is pretty much already determined early on.

    True, but I can foresee the team with the least amount of damage on the MB will turtle. So it will be a constant battle of which team can turtle better.

    Damn, I really wish I could try these changes out with a full 6v6 game.

    Besides that one change the others are pretty great, actually.

    We just "Gave this a chance". And it was wasted.

    The 2 level 2 rockits, now cannot be killed by a sword wielding gold armour juiced assassin without using a smoke bomb.

    If one of the 2 turrets is hacked to .2 and fully overhealed + being healed by a support. Both turrets cannot be killed by a sword wielding gold armour juiced assassin with using a smoke bomb.

    This along with the abysmal OT changes has successfully turned MNC into a girl scouts weekend camp trip. Congratulations on pissing into the games dying wounds.

    The overtime thing Is a bad move, apart from that nice. LVL2 rocket turrets make it less easy for Sin to faceroll your base within the first minute of the game.
