I have looked into some files today, and there are things like bot_artillery we have bot_artillery_adv at T2 they look nearly the same, with the difference that bot_artillery has two cannons on the sides instead of one cannon in the center. from its name only i would think that it is a T1 unit. edit: in sorians stream at 37:22 you could see them both at T2, but there the two-barreled bot was the Stomper, who has now only one barrel i think then i have seen tank_heavy_artillery we have tank_heavy_mortar at T2 also they look nearly the same, tank_heavy_artillery is smaller with a different gun, looks also like a T1. t1 artillery units or just different concepts? also there are some commanders, beast who looks like a gorilla, a fast-walker looking thing named raptor, a four-legged named spider, and some other humanoid looking walkers. if i have understand it correctly, we will later be able to chose between different commanders who have different ability's, are these concepts for them? and then...there is the megabot what the f*** is this thing? its huge, it looks like a SupCom experimental o.o there are more, buildings and orbitals for example, but the units above were more interesting for me. oh and the unit cannon, btw, really nice work what are these units? upcoming stuff or just test-pieces? and: are we alowed to talk about them, or is it against the rules? i have not seen it here if not: please delete
Some is unfinished stuff, some is old stuff. You are basically seeing the evolution of the game in realtime. Think of them like you would "junk" DNA or something. A giant experimental unit you say? How odd
i have to imagine the "Spore" game right now xD its very interesting to see these things, its like a look behind the scenes, as you said, the evolution of the game. i love it when there are things to discover ^-^
