When I was playing a few nights ago on AmmoMule, I noticed a strange design off in the distance. Upon closer inspection, it seemed as though it was, an ad, much like the others fading off into the skybox. But this one was different. It was something I had never seen before. Anyway, it seems this is an ad for a company not found elsewhere in the game. Others I found after opening the maps up in-game for myself include: Guns __ Bob (Above, maybe "Guns By Bob"?) Howe Accurate Inc. At 'Em Bomb Iron Men And others So any ideas on what these may be? They are mixed in with other, up-to-date ads, so it seems strange they would remain in at all, unless they are intended to be other companies or products simply not in game otherwise. Anyway, I hope this isn't old, but a quick search turned up no results. Discuss!
From what I can see, AmmoMule, Steel Peel, and Spunky all share the same skybox. There are a few, from what I've seen but there are also several other unused companies mixed in.
They are probably just cookies and in-house jokes. Guns X Bob is a reference to Bob Berry. Iron Men? Reference to Iron Maiden, played heavily by one of the games staff. Basically the same thing as Team Heads in GoldenEye 007. L. Spiro
L. Spiro you are a genius!! That makes too much sense to not be true. [Edit] I think he is actually right because "Howe" could also be in reference to William Howe-Lott who is on the dev. team.
