    Hey,

I have only noticed this problem on planets with moon template yet but there are also similar ones on other planet types. When I order units to go at the other side of a crater sometimes they aren't able to leave the crater again. They are stuck on the edge. Sometimes units will walk "into" the map, sometimes they vanish completly other times only a part of them is in the map. It seems that this only appears when I order a unit that is already stuck inside the crater to go outside by clicking repeatedly somewhere outside. Last game this also happended to my commander, he went not into the map but was rotating upside down. If this is of use I made 2 screenshots, so just ask.

The other bug that I think is similar is on other planet layouts with rocks on the surface. Units will just walk through some of them, at least this doesnt effect the game much but I thought I should report that anyways.

This is a very known bug.

It's why Lava planets were turned off and why many people don't play on metal planets.

    Uber is working on it.

I don't know that units walking under the map is a very known bug. I see it all the time on the Chronocam mostly because the Chronocam is inaccurate but I'm not sure I've ever actually seen it happen in a live game.

I did have a match a while back where I could not find the final enemy commander. We had started on a moon map and after eliminating all other players, only he was left. I assumed he'd left the planet and went looking for him but ultimately I couldn't find his commander anywhere. I had global satellite coverage on every planet, deep space radar, he wasn't anywhere in space or anywhere that I could see on any planet.

I had wondered at the time if maybe he had gotten his commander stuck under the world, or maybe he really blew up a long time ago and through some bug the server never counted him as annihilated.

If the OP has reproduced putting his commander underneath the map in a live game then maybe that's what happened in my game too.

I have a beautiful video I can put to music of this bug...

It's not in the live game, it's through ChronoCam.. but the enemy commander resurfaced in the live game, which was why I was looking in ChronoCam to begin with.

It was a much older build, and that was not the only error I observed in the live game

Yeah, don't trust Chronocam. I see units appear as if underground all the time on Chronocam. They usually magically appear when they start shooting. During the live game that never happened though.

I'm not sure how Chronocam works but I think some of their recent performance fixes broke a lot of recording/playback stuff.
