Is this a bug or a feature? I notice this most often with the T2 mobile artillery, but I think it affects all units.

Basically units will not fire on radar blips that are in range, even if you try to force fire them. Sometimes with the T2 arty even sending a spotter plane over doesn't seem to do anything to make the arty find a target.

Personally I hope that the intended behaviour is going to be like SupCom i.e fire on any spotted or radar-spotted unit within range.

    Sometimes artillery can be weird.

I'm just concerned it might be intended - in Total Annihilation units wouldn't target into the fog unless you had a special targeting building. But even then you could manually override it and manual target.

I think it something weird about artillery units in general. I'm not sure I have ever seen Shellers use their full range in the latest versions.
