I am sure that many people have encountered the issue where they build a block of structures and then their units get stuck when their path crosses through the block of structures. Some of this could be fixed if when building the structure there was a highlighted area surrounding the proposed structure and any existing obstacle, current, or queued structure. A red highlighted area and green build on the building would mean you could build there but then the red area would be impassable. A yellow area would mean that small size units could pass, and a green would mean that there is plenty of mobile space. I am sure that there is multiple ways that this could be accomplished, mine is only a suggested solution.
