Rather than post a solitary idea or a set idea for a new Pro I figure it would be much more efficient to just list of unexplored design space in one thread so ber can see them all in one place: Pro Roles: *Barricade Builder *Ability-Based Damage (relying on XYB as the primary source of damage for the Pro) *Pet Class *Explosives Expert *Hand to Hand Combat (Gets in close and beats you to death, perhaps using the Energy Chain as the alternate weapon?) Weapons: *Double Pistols (ALT Fire: Pistol Whip) *Energy Chain (ALT Fire: Wrap or Pull Close) *Remote Flyer (Fires out an aerial bot that you control remotely from a safe place) That's all I got so far. I'll add more when I think of them (or if someone suggest something good).
I like these ideas. Potential pro abilities: Bot hacker Can hack into an enemy bot and take control of it. Level 1 you can only hack into Slim / Blackjack. Level 2 you can hack into the bots summoned by other players. Level 3 would allow you to grapple, jump onto a jackbot, and control it from the back. He can be shot off. Radar - Can detect nearby players while active. Level 1 - Detects players and bots within a radius. Level 2 - When active, you are able to detect cloaked assassins and gremlins. Level 3 - When active, able to reveal cloaked assassins and gremlins to others of the same class. Chain Trap - Like a sniper trap, but with a wider radius. When activated, any nearby enemies are attacked to the center of the trap by a chain. Level 1 - Small radius, Large chain. Level 2 - Medium radius, medium chain. Adds skill draining effect to the chain. Level 3 - Medium radius, Small chain. Weapons: Javelin. If a player is next to a wall, they can get pinned down. Balanced out by slow-moving projectile and moderate rate of fire. Secondary fire stabs. Bot Launcher. Can pick up bots and fire them. Level 1 - Can pick up Slim, Gremlin, and Buzzer. Level 2 - Can pick up Blackjack, Scrambler, and Gap Shot, and increased distance. Level 3 - Can pick up pros for 4 seconds if you catch them point-blank from behind, increased damage. Hot Glue Gun - Shoots hot glue onto its enemies for a slow but steady amount of damage, and it slows them down slightly. Secondary charges the gun to shoot a larger glue ball, which detonates into smaller glue balls around it. Level 1 - basic Glue gun. Level 2 - More glue balls per secondary shot, additional damage. Level 3 - Players hit by a direct shot are stuck in place for 5 seconds.
