Hello Uber Employees, Planetary Annihilation moderators, and other forum members. My name is Disalign, and I have been having some problems with attempting to play Planetary Annihilation. You see, I cannot connect to a match or sometimes even log into ubernet from PA without experiencing unbearable lag. Now, of course, I thought this could simply be a personal problem, so I checked with some of my friends who also played PA, and they are experiencing the problem as well. With this new-found information, I had made the guess that this was a server-side issue, due to the large influx of players from the steam summer sale. I decided to test this, by playing at different times with the same things going on in my computer. This test proved successful, and that at some times in the day (1-5 pm Central) it is very laggy, but near midnight to 3 am central time, it works just fine. This means that it could be a server problem, but I am not sure. I think this still warrants some looking into. Thank you for your time.
Yeah the steam sale gave such an influx of players that starting a game has been a problem the last week or so, it should be getting better next week
