UI additions

    I'd really like to see an option that allows me to see the range of radar and units at all times and an addition of HP instead of just "100%" to the information boxes when units are selected.
    Discuss.

    Yea, another one of those things that makes PA really bad compared to FA in my eyes...

    FAF (yes, FAF, not only FA, because there are differences) level range circles and other stats (like actual HP values! I hate games that don't display HP values... argh CoH for example! It's an utterly retarded UI-design decision!) are the bare minimum of what is needed. Better even improve on what FAF does. They don't even need to reinvent stuff. Just improve on the things that have already been done; but that seems to be a skill game Devs lack in general - reusing UI designs that worked in the past. In every game you have to tell the Devs anew why their UI sucks and which singular exception of a game did it actually right... getting so sick of this. /rant

    Actually, even specifically for PA there have been made TONS of genius UI design suggestions that would really had made PA a next gen RTS in terms of control and UI... and none of those except area command have made it into the game. Instead as the basic control scheme we have the age old one that has been there since the dawn of RTS.

    I mean, seriously - where did the orders as first class entities idea go? It would have been a game changer, quite literally.

    The wasted potential of a revolutionary UI and control scheme is what disappoints me the most about PA. Uber had all those ideas just served to them and used almost none.
