Uh....Just Curious

If i were to buy PA from here, not steam, is there any difference? If i bought it here i would get the 40$ pack, would i be able to play it right away?

There is no functional difference between the version from Uber or the Steam Version.

Currently The Game is in Alpha, so the 40$ Combat Edition won't be able to play, release in currently planned for December 2013.

Yes, in fact teh Steam Version has all the same things as the Galactic Edition, just that you need to Launch Via Steam.

If you're undecided in which you should purchase from I would suggest buying direct from Uber(they get more 'profit' that way too) and if you don't like the UberNet Launcher you can turn you Key into a Steam Key(You can't go back thought).

You can go back since after you've launched the game through Steam at least once you can play through Steam or use the Ubernet launcher.

Once you've successfully played a game through Steam the Uber Launcher will also work. Basically you just link accounts.
