when i updated on steam to beta, the product fails to launch in steam. it says i played, but that's the extent of it. if i open the files and run PA manually, i see the front page and see the uber server games, but have a 100% failure rate joining a match. update: managed to join a lobby ....
It's known problem already: FS#2100 This is happen because current PA build need libstdc++ ABI which is not available on Ubuntu 12.04 and in Steam runtime. You should able to bypass it using STEAM_RUNTIME=0
