is this a signal that they are about to launch a reasonably large project, persay, MNC2 or a new IP? or are they possibly working on a massive chunk of DLC that ay be coming out? who knows. thoughts?

Probably just looking for a wider range of people to build up the company to make it a better games(s). Maybe in about 5 years I'll hit them up.

After talking with all of them at PAX East, I'm pretty sure they want to develop MNC as a platform for revenue, rather than moving on to other projects.

Also they're working on at least the new map, and a new game mode.

They need to hire more people if they intend on supporting 2 platforms. The PC version is getting too much attention these days and a whole mess of MNC fans on another platform are getting
Jelous/Impatient/Over anxious/Tired/and even nervous nothing will happen. More crewmembers= more work= more money for UBER in the over all.

I would apply but I prefer to work/live in Japan (that and I am in the hiring process at Square Enix and it is not very polite to just leave in the middle of it).

But if they ever want to start up an office in Japan, let me know.

We've gone over this before. The 360 version is not as flexible as the PC version. The PC version is strictly superior in the context of Uber being able to update it. The PC version can receive unlimited updates for as long as Uber wants to update it. The 360 version is blocked by Microsoft.

That might be the case, Polynomial, but it doesn't make 360 users less "Jealous/Impatient/Over anxious/Tired". Most of us accept that support for the 360 version is impaired by Microsoft's update policies, but we're still getting bored and annoyed with the same old game. Unfortunately for Uber, a majority of us will have moved on to other games by the time the update is actually ready for download. I can acknowledge that Uber hiring more people to may help speed things along, and it's all going to rely on how fast Microsoft approves of the update, but it may be too late. :(

Uber hiring more people doesn't speed Microsoft certification along =/

Its sad Microsoft has these, frankly, antiquated limits in place.

If you dont say and UBER WOMEN Hellchick might have pwn you ;)

And Poly i know and understand how PC updates work just fine. However the 360 crowd has waited for 6 months and they are starting to fidget with every PC update. Dont get me wrong, i play MNC almost every night, however like Jon said, with newer games coming out the 360 community may be threatened.

PC has lots of issues and they are trying to keep people wanting to play I know this. However it is very clear that the 360 crowd is tired of waiting. o recognized this and brought them some kind of needed news, a crutch to lean on. However since the Spunky cola expansion, the Xbox community had its time to enjoy the hell out of it. Most players even started out really excited for the PC version of MNC, UBER has been doing great for themselves. However they dont want to feel like the "bastard child" either. So now that we are nearing April, and new exciting games are coming out, attentions will be shifted.

What i was saying is that because they are supporting 2 versions of a game. If you are limited due to size of your team, the only logical point would be to hire more people. With more people more work can get done and at a faster pace. They dont hate the Xbox version, they just have a lot on their plate when it comes to updating the PC and then updating the Xbox with microsofts loops to hop through. So more people is required now to safely take advantage of both markets.

The solution when growing a business is to hire more employees to handle the business, not to grow the business with the same limited amount of employees.

Look at other successful companies and learn from their success.

I may be pretty immune to repetition, but I'm about to stop playing this game and find a new one due to lack of content.

    Amen.

Yeah it's been said a thousand times and believe me WE KNOW. More content and more updates to keep things fresh on 360.

Anyone with common sense knows that Uber Entertainment is aware of the concern of the community.

I will admit that the constant nagging on the company must certainly be annoying, but unfortunately, the anxiety and the restlessness of the community will continue to cry until extra content is either announced or released.

I would like to remind people that many game developers have a lot to do. Customers, like us, do not see what goes behind the scenes. I have, and it isn't pretty.

Taking care of a business is not an easy task and Uber Entertainment is no exception to that hardship.

    Give them a break.

The situation may look like Team Fortress 2/Valve, but at least Uber Entertainment response to the complaints, and not avoid them entirely such as Valve did.

    May God have mercy.

    Amen.

As a pc gamer is kind of makes me happy to see the console side complaining after we've been getting stuck with crappy console ports for the past couple years.

It's nice to see the game has done well enough that uber is hiring more people.

    ^Confusing ;)

Anyway, UBER has been working hard. I dont want them to stop working on the PC version, that is needed for their success. However hiring more people right now is definitely the right move to do.
I hope they get some solid employees, this company has some big promise ahead of them. Bigger than MNC....

Why does Microsoft have to be assholes all the time  Without all these damn obstacles in the way our console version would be pimp status.

Maybe we should combine together to give them a nasty letter from the fans who want more ;) I thought they are suppose to be more competitive with PS3

Eka do what you gotta do dude, you guys are working hard and some of your console players know this. Im as wanting as the next guy for new content or even a patch, but im not going to stop my support for your game and company. Ill still be playing MNC even when Brink comes out, i cant get away from it, stutterstep or no stutterstep i love flying around with the assassin lol.
