UBER IDEA'S

Hi, my name is Uberdestroyer.
I'm new to this forum but I am very excited about this project and I would like to share my idea's.

You can discuss you're idea's here, but there's one rule, only UBER idea's are allowed.
I'm talking about Solar-systems exploding, Stars colliding, ...

My idea started when I watched the kickstarter video, why would you have to go all the way to a moon or an asteroid, firing it into the planet if you could just fire the planet STRAIGHT into its star.
I mean, just building ridiculous amount of UBER-Engines and Retro-burning till its just in a straight collision with its sun.
Off cours I would evacuate your units to another planet, OR maybe it would be nescesarry going to a new solar-system.
This game isn't aiming for realism but for EPICNESS, so if the mass of the planet would be big enough, then maybe it could just Blow the sun up, creating a Black-hole wich is very dangerous.
Your little evacuation planet maybe slingshot multiple solar-systems away cause of the gravitational pull.

Anyhow, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the vid.

HUGE EXPLOSIONS AND MANLY STUFF LIKE STEAK N' FOOTBALL

A giant worm-like creature that swallows galaxies whole!

So, this worm is suppose to be like this random creature roaming around outer-space looking for a snack?

A robot that has an even bigger robot inside it, and that robot has an even bigger robot inside it. And it probably has exploding laser eyes or something too.

Maybe quantum resizer technology..... who know´s....


A Sci-Fi Universe Portal.You have to power it up with millions of energyresource points and then you can select a Sci-Fi Universe you like (for me STARGATE) and then you can build units from that Sci-Fi Universe you choose. Stargate example: Goa´uld Hatak (mothership) or an Alkesh (medium range bomber).
For Infantry SMNC Universe for sure

Supported Sci-Fi Universes: Stargate,Star Wars,Battlestar Galactica,Star Trek,Babylon,Andromeda,Super SMNC.

So you use the portal to call the robot piloted by a robot piloted by a robot piloted by a robot from Gurren Lagan. Clever.

Oh, and
CATAPULTS THAT THROW BLACK HOLES!

Or an Catapult unit which can throw 3 asteroids at ONCE that would be epic

In the Galactic war it should take a rather long time to get to the other side of the galaxy, so I thought of some transportation ways.
Normally you would just have some rockets, space ships to move around but you should be able to research more exotic ways.

You should be able to build a research center and, provided you have the resources, develop new weapons, means off transportation, ...
I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A TECH-TREE OR SOMETHING.

Here are my idea's:

-wormhole:

I think we can all imagine how this would work, it takes a long time to build it, research it and it would have a little cool-down after usage, however it can teleport you across the galaxy.

-FTL-engines:

Addition to rockets or space-ships, gives the ability to quikly jump between solar-systems, it has a little cool-down after use, it takes less time to develop than wormholes.

Uber is not going to include wormholes or FTL-engines i think because with this technology RUSH tacticts will be most presented in multiplayer because you can jump to your enemy directly.

Sadly enough, lets look at what Uber "Really wants" -

Planets - Zoom In/Out to and from outer-space.
Many Planets - To Colonize (Might I add)
Galaxies - to have loads of solar systems or should I say "Worlds" - Did they even say they would be solar systems? no clue. (The most chances, yes they will be solar systems)
(Although, it had only look like they wanted 1 Galaxie in the video).

They say they want "orbital fighting" Uh, so having small skirmishes from orbit with robots? like in Gundam Wars? Even they had ships to begin with.

Anyways, any way you look at it, the only way to getting from "World to World" directly and instantly is by building a Warp Gate or "StarGate" like in Stargate-SG1 shows.

If are other means besides using a means of a warp gate then the only "other means of travel is building "Star Docks" to begin construction of transport outer-space ships and or building a stargate in orbit and then send a explorer ship to the select planet to build another stargate. (Oh, again still need a ship to even build the thing)

So, you really only have 2 options that I can see, "Have prebuilt Stargates on all planets to have units travel between planets directly instantly or build stargates in orbit using outer-space ships with orbit docks building them.

Look at it this way - If you want to destroy planets what better way to do it than using massive battleships and crusier launching a volley of missiles at the ground forces of the planet and to even invade other planets the best means to doing so is by using outer-space ships to bomb the planet with weapons.

Of course, if players are worried about being overwhelmed by outer-space ships, then the devs should think about having land defense that is designed for destroying outer-space ships. I mean, I would love nothing more than too see a massive transport launching an attack of robots to a planet from orbit and seeing land defense shooting back at my forces that are invading.

I would love if Uber is going to include this or modder make it as a mod.

WE NEED A STARGATE MOD

Feel free to write as much as you can

A gun that changes the laws of physics!

A gun that buffs spelling and grammar (look at the thread title).

A weapon powered by the forums sarcasm!

A generator that produces power in proportion to the irony.
