The only thing I am really wondering about is the texture of the pads? :D

So how much was Uber paid for this? Did they get the controller for free? ;D

I honestly want to test that controller on oldschool snes emulators so I can see how well with games designed for buttons on the right side.

We wanted to test it for using with PA and I think it could totally work. As far as texture on the pads, those things are still being worked on. Valve prints different pads daily with their in house 3d printers. I saw a bin full of old prints and various pads.

Got any ideas for the button and screen layout in PA and SMNC?

I still don't find any trackpad as usable as the mouse.
I don't have the same fine tuning on my thumb than on my whole hand+arm.
You can't have the same sensivity on a 3cmx3cm using your thumb on a forced way than on a 10x15cm surface with a natural movement.
It may better than a controller, but I still think that key+mouse beats over any other gaming input device, esp. for shooters or RTS.

Don't think anyone expects any controller will ever be as good for fps gaming as a mouse. Trackpads are still a big improvement over joysticks though.
