I've managed to conjure up a couple of ideas which might be suitable but I just need a second opinion or two on the both of them, so let me try this out: 1. Money-Ball Donation - Say if you have a few cash burning a hole in your wallet and you've basically maxed out all your skills and your Money-Ball has been taking quite a beating, I suggest that you could possibly DONATE a few dollars to the Money-Ball itself, with $1 for every hit point, you can give health to the Money-Ball? Granted, this may take you into overtime or something but once it gets TOO frantic, you'll need to donate as much as you can, to keep the opposing team from destroying your ball. It's either, donate and be killed or kill without donating and risk the Money-Ball's health being damaged ten-fold. Now that I think about it, it doesn't that good of an idea but tell me what you think. 2. Support Juice Donation - The main objective (well, I HOPE) of the Support is to heal other players. But what if, say for example, your Support has Juice ready to activate but you want another player to deal the damage or another player is on his last legs whom you cannot heal that much before he dies? Then say you GIVE another player your own Juice and automatically activating it, by having your heal beam on that person and pressing LB + RB whilst healing them, thus giving them YOUR Juice and leading them to wreck havoc on the other team thanks to a player you've kindly given your own Juice too? I personally like this idea more than the first. Think of it as an "Ubercharge" if you will, only the other player will be all powerful. Plus if you still have $500, you can buy Juice for yourself afterwards. The other thing is, you don't even have to keep your heal beam on them to keep them Juiced, just set your beam on them, hit LB + RB and then go off and do your own thing while the Juiced player goes off willy-nilly. Some very constructive feedback would be applicable, thank you. <3
1. Perhaps, it's a decent idea. I think the money shouldn't lead to healing it (More advantage to higher power teams), but instead should be that the more money you donate, the less time it takes for the shields to come back up after being knocked down(With like 1000 bringing it back up after only about 2 seconds of not being hit). In Overtime, the money would increase the moneyball's armor value, which wouldn't heal it, but make future damage to it tougher. 2.I suddenly can imagine 2 supports running between the Juice dispenser and an ally, constantly feeding him juice. This idea doesn't ring well with me. Supports merely support, they don't empower and enable.
1: I dislike the idea. For the same reason that turrents shouldn't be buffed: Crossfire should be focused on offense instead of defense. If both teams keep on healing or armoring their moneyball, a stalemate becomes more and more likely. 2: Sounds good to me.
I like the thought of paying to increase Moneyball's armor. (no healing) It won't ever get to a stalemate because... well... it's a timed match.
My friends, I should have made the first point a bit clearer, sorry. When you pay a $1 per hit point, I didn't want the Moneyball to have armour per-say but to heal it. When it DOES have full shields up and has full health, paying to give it armour would render it useless. ONLY when it needs healing would it be effective instead of giving it armour. Giving it armour would just be. . .TOO overpowered I should say.
Idea #1: I would like to see a variant of this, but the cost of healing your Moneyball needs to increase after paying to heal it. Say, for example, that healing the first hit point would cost $5, the next hit point $10, the next hit point $15, so that you while you could heal your Moneyball after a large push from the other team, eventually you would have to play offensively or the cost of healing your Moneyball would be too high. Idea #2: I really don't see what point giving someone else Juice would serve. 90% of the time I have to use my own Juice so that I can earn some money to build better defenses or build more Gapshots.
Thumbs down from me The second idea is just terrible. Not being negative, these just seem like "Make the game more broken" Ideas.
