Interesting... Amazon has some powerful servers. Hopefully we'll get better quality/consistent streams now. I just want an HTML5 player.
I'd rather Amazon than Google on this one, honestly. I'll be interested to see what changes get made as a result. EDIT: And yes, Brian. HTML5 is long overdue on Twitch. Sod Flash.
I prefer this over Google simply because I like more competition, and YouTube owning all the online contents just makes me nervous. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
It doesn't really matter to me because I started using hitbox.tv instead. The delay on twitch makes it impossible to play properly with input from the chat.
Damn. Because I totally wanted to let absolutely everyone who knows me on my (unused) Google+ account to know when I was watching a stream/went live/commented in chat. How will I live. Kappa..
Same here. I was mainly hoping for an HTML 5 player out of the Google deal but that's worth sacrificing in the name of competition and a more varied playing field.
Perhaps the competition will result in an HTML5 player still. Competition can lead to strange outcomes.
