Turrets.

    Currently, the only useful turrets are Rockits and shave-ices. I'd like to see this change.

    I want to see long shots having the effectiveness of a gapshot. I'd like to see lazer blazers have an actual benefit again. A level 3 lazer blazer should be more powerful than a level 1 rockit turret, you pay more for it, you should get more out of it. But a base level 2 rockit should be more powerful than a 3.3 lazer blazer.

    I'd also like to see all turrets have a major health increase. It should take an entire juice of an assassin to kill one level 3 shave-ice or level 3 rockit. This would be fair since an assassin can gain juice insanely fast. Although the gunner should only loose a little bit of power against turrets because of his slow juice gain.

    I also think the support should have an aura of turret nub regeneration with level 2 passive upgraded. Meaning destroyed turrets would become reusable faster if a support is near them.

    You should also be able to buy a repair for your turrets, because we know all too much of supports that think their firebase is more important than their actual base.

    Side note: a juiced support should be able to heal much faster than he does, if he has juice he should be able to negate all damage coming into a target that he is healing.

    maybe turret endorsements?

    edit: pros pick turret endorsements that affect the turrets they build (armor, RoF, range, damage)

    Agreed with all, especially the armor-part. It's stupid that I can take out three turrets in one juice with the assassin, then go melee bots and wreck their new turrets one minute later.

    it takes you a whole minute? you must be the slowest assassin ever. takes everyone else 20 seconds...

    and i like amaze theory's signature. nice anime photoshop skills, well made, plus i like logan from samurai shamploo, but not as much as gene

    Excellent thread Officer, I agree with all your points especially about making turrets
    tougher. It's just too easy to wipe out a whole base ( or a least 4 turrets ) with one
    juicing.

    I agree longshots are not that good but i would hate to see them have the range of a gap shot and start blowing up enemy turrets (the main thing that makes gapshots better than longshots). As is they can be annoying and thats fine I'd still be for a slight buff in range or damage but nothing extreme. I personally would go for a price reduction because 525 is a lot of money for something that can be taken down in 3 seconds by any class. How big of a price reduction... 1/3 from 75 base to 50 totaling 350 that would make them a little more worth while.

    A general increase in turret health would be a fine with me but they still need to be able to be taken down without juice.

    The rest of it I agree with 100%.

    Translation: people want Support to be the absolute best class in the game, making super turrets that will stand up to anything. What you're proposing is effectively a complete overhaul of the system. Granted, turrets kinda do need it.

    Health: Nah, I think the turret health is just fine as it is. They're not exactly paper-thin. They're far from indestructible. You have to work significantly at it unless you have juice, and that's really the biggest point of juice.
    Lasers: Suggestions on laser improvements have already been made en masse.
    Longshots: I'll agree to improving their range, but not firepower. Longshots should be able to hit stuff in the other base without the need for a hack.
    Nub regen: Unnecessary. I understand it's irritating, but I think it's reasonable to have them down like this when they get destroyed. If anything, I'd move for this regen to be on level 3.
    Turret repair: It's a Support's job to keep turrets healthy. He can do that. The fact that random Supports don't is not Uber's fault.
    Juice: A juiced support is an offensive beast. He doesn't need to be somebody's Starman. There's enough Mario referencing there as it is.

    I agree that Juiced Supports' Heal Guns should function at the same speed as the Hurt Gun does, it's a bit silly that Hurt Gun get juiced out while Heal Gun does.

    Sometimes I would prefer to juice with my Support and devote that Juice to overhealing every turret to full in mere seconds. Sure, I miss out on dishing some serious damage... but meh, that's what the other five classes are there for.

    I agree with the laser blazer and long shot buffs. I believe though that instead of a repair, turrets should have health regen. Because a repair would make it too difficult to destroy turrets. I think turrets should begin to regain health slowly if they go, say 20 seconds without being attacked.

    or, how about a $100 option to repair a turret slowly over the period of 30 seconds. slowly as it repair gun bronze rate endorsement.

    better than a nearly dead turret ending up dying 3 minutes later when there is a freaking blind support playing on your team. if i had a modded xbox, his xbox would be unable to connect to xbox live for the rest of the night, i swear. then he can get on the forums and learn why this happened to him.

    Turrets do have health regen, but it takes a long time for it to start.
