When the armor dome thingy covers the turret while it is being built or upgraded. Does the hitbox change to match the dome or does it stay the same as before?

Cause I could swear that I've had grenades just go right through the dome and completely miss. This is mostly noticable with rocket turrets which have those really skinny middle parts making it easier to miss your shots if you don't aim for the top part.

Do turrets even get damaged during the process of being upgraded?

    Nope.

For those of you who didn't know, turrets can be saved through upgrade. Even a juiced player can't damage a turret while it is being upgraded. It is a clutch upgrade. Pisses plenty of juiced assassins off too (though they usually cut your throat for doing it).

Chopping the offender to bits for their troubles does make me feel a bit better.

What can I say? I am the kind of fellow who would trade his K/D for his W/L.

Being murdered to save a turret is fine. Saving a turret, being targetted, and killing the juicer with an airstrike or headcrab is even better, but if I can't manage to take them down then I am fine with only the turret living.

The general idea I have of the Turret upgrading is that it fully heals when the dome goes up, possibly also when it goes down.

I swear I've Mortar Juice killed Turrets while they were domed, although it might have been residual damage.
