When your base is under attack or a Support drops his turret near an enemy base, you're usually left hoping that the turret nearest to you is going to help you rather than try to shoot the farther thing away from you. Does anybody know what the current priority list is? I HATE dropping a turret as a Support near an enemy base and watching it shoot bots that can't hit it while I get attacked by an Assassin right next to it. Or having it shoot only the moneyball while someone within the turret's range attacks it. Anyone else feel strongly about this, see it happen, or know the list of priorities?
They attack the first thing to enter line of sight, and keep firing until that thing dies or moves out of range
It should target the closest enemy. I too have had this problem, I'm under attack from anyone, but my firebase instead of helping me is trying to finish off some bots. I get killed, then my firebase is then destroyed by whoever killed me... thanks firebase :x
In games like LoL and DOTA, the turrets target all Creeps (bots in MNC) in the area before targeting a hero/champion (pro in MNC) UNLESS a pro damages another pro while in range of the turret. In MNC, its as bolt described it in my experience. Don't know which I would prefer honestly. The turret is blinded and killed before it can ever usually respond to me or my bots.
It seems to just go after the closest target first, however, if it's shooting a turret it will switch to higher priority targets (bots or pros) if they come into range.
I like how it's setup now. Waiting for a bot to enter range of a turret before attacking is a strategy, although the turrets are always 100% reliable in their target selection.
