Ok so I have been reading the Uber forums for awhile now. I never really posted anything but I have read guides, announcements, etc. In my reading I have noticed that most everyone refers to the MNC turrets to "turrents", am I missing something?

no, it's just cause a lot of people here think they are called 'turreNts' for whatever reason.... So it's become somewhat of a running joke :)

Or, when people download files via fileshares, we tend to use Torrets.

A fun fact also about "turrents": Our Pitgirl (VO artist) had many many takes where she didn't say 'Turret' but with her accent it came out as 'Turrent'.

So it is not just the internet making this mistake.

I'd say my favourite characters in the Lord of the Rings are the Entents.

    Weak, I know.

This is not limited to MNC. People (mistakenly, not intentionally) included an "n" in turrets on the League of Legends forums long before MNC was released. :)
