So I watched the livestream some while ago, and I was thinking about how different unit types traverse different flow-fields, so my question is:

Will we see some transformer unit-types which can switch the flow-fields they move through by transforming to their alternate form?.

For example the cybran naval ship from SupCom which grew-out legs and walked on land when made to travel on land, but still keeping the same speed pathing when in water.

Or the viking unit from StarCraft 2 which could move through land or air depending on which form the unit is in.

Well how a unit moves is based on it's Move type, so if teh Move Type changes, so will how it moves.

As for them being in the base game, I have my doubts unless its something more akin to the Salem, something more like the Viking isn't all that desirable when considering the scale and the fact that part of the point of the proposed Tech system is to make it so that you can tweak and adjust unit compositions as opposed to purely building only a selection of the total units all game.

Flow fields just determine a path - velocity, acceleration etc. are independant of this.
