Tournament to be 1vs1 or 2vs2?

What do you all want? a 1v1 or a 2v2 tournament? I will decide tomorrow morning as soon as i wake up depending on the responses and make the tournament sign up soon after that.

Hmmm... I think I'll vote 2v2, simply because there hasn't been one in ages and I think it will be interesting to see how it plays out with all the new content.

I fully expect all the pros to vote against me though

Also, I like being the underdog.

Noooooooooooo 1v1 can't be winning. We already did a 1v1. Sample size is too small! 2v2! 2v2! 2v2!

I'd particularly enjoy a 2v2 where the 'top' players weren't allowed to team up together, too

You can't judge balance upon what happens in 2v2. I think Beta tournaments really help balancing the game, that's their purpose and 1v1 is best for achieving this goal.

^ how so??? This is going to be a game of epic team battles over the 1v1..... 1v1 will always have it's place but still epic battles!!!!!

pretty sure the purpose of the game is fun. Beta testing includes that too. How about we test team fun factor eh?

I really like the idea about 2v2, but for that I think you would have to know the person you are going to play with at least one week before the tournament, you can't just put 2 people together and expect them to play good while they have only known eachother for 1 day or maybe even 1 hour. I don't know how you plan to set up the tournament but when you are going to do 2v2 I think you should move the tournament by one week.

We need to test the pings too which will be out before the weekend hopefully.
