MNC is my favorite game of all time and I'm staying. I'm never gonna buy Brink but too bad MNC is gonna lose alot of players. There's alot of people saying that they will play both but I highly doubt it.
Ok bye. Good luck with 10 host migrations just for winning. Good luck with 5 stale maps. Good luck with splitscreen randoms. Mnc is a great game in desperate need of updates which isnt gonna happen anytime soon. When brink comes out i will be not coming back to mnc untill dlc comes out.
The thing is, xbox 360 is full of updates that cost money and more money and a lot of waiting... PC is where its at. Im never going back to MNC with the worst community ive ever seen as well Brink is just gonna be a way better game.
What are you guys going to do when Brink is plagued with the same certification process as MNC? Then again you are buying and playing a game from an already well established Dev. Company that has money to throw and bring in for Microsoft. So really I guess your views will never change. It's very similar to those who drive around in BMW's and those who drive Hondas.
Dont you ever get bored of your own posts? You just answered your own question, splash damage like 99 percent of game companies can afford to put up dlc and updates. Also id take a beamer over a honda anyday, regardless of reliability. Just sayin.
stretch, most if not all of us are leaving due to a lack of interest in MNC. there are only 5 maps. the endorsement system is reduced to gold armor, silver RoF< and bronze skill/accuracy/health recovery. the game is just old. everyone wants to move on to something new. its as simple as that.
I'll probably be playing both, But more of Brink. Definately playing more MNC when the update(s) come out.
Most well devolopped games don't demand updates. The only reason people want updates in MNC is because there are STILL massive bugs, gameplay flaws, only 5 maps, and horrible frame drops. I doubt brink will be the perfect game, but I also doubt it will have as many pressing issues as MNC does, requiring much fewer updates. Plus, let's be honest, they'll have more sway with Microsoft and be higher on the pecking order. But honestly, that's not why any of us are going to play brink. It's because it looks new and fresh like MNC did a year ago. Hopefully, it is as unique as MNC without the problems.
Only time will tell. No matter how good or bad brink is, MNC is still a totally different game offering a totally different play style. I never played the real DOTA but I hope someone else makes another FPS/3rdPS DOTA type game in the future for xbox, and I hope it's MNC2.
I love how you have to be one thing or the other to people. This really shows the maturity of the people around us, and why there are certain stigmas to being a gamer. I play MNC on the Xbox 360 = I have never heard of DotA. I totally haven't been playing that game since it came out. As well as the fact that he left out the certain fact that there is already a DotA 2 coming out, being made by Valve and Icefrog was specifically hired in to ensure the product remained fully faithful to it's fans. I play MNC on the Xbox 360 because it came out on the 360, and why would I buy a product twice when all the "PC Guys" act like that, and I have all my friends on XBL? I'm glad to state that I have DotA 2 on preorder, and have already updated my computer for the coming storm of PC games I'm getting into, as well as my standing preorder for Brink. Wait...This guy uses his PC and 360 for video games? Isn't that illegal or something?!?! To keep this on topic, I am definitely looking forward to picking up my copy of brink this week, and playing with all my friends.
