This is nothing new. At this stage you can only really crack the planet generator, and there's no real point in that, aside from looking at the SHECKSHEH PLANETS in 1280x1040 resolution with no anti-aliasing using your crappy consumer-grade GPU and RAM chips.

If you don't have enough money to buy PA you probably can't afford a Computer to run it either. Let the idiots loose their email addresses to phishers and trojans.

However the counter-argument to this is that piracy actually increases the sales of 90% of games because the pirates tell their friends that "OMFG PA IS SO EPIC" and then those friends purchase PA legitimately. There are even some pirates out there that treat the pirated copy like a demo and may purchase it later on. I'm honestly happy with either happening.

Guys, garat already asked not post these links on this forum because 100% of them is contain viruses and spyware. So you can PM links to him or on their email (info@uberent.com), but remove it from this topic.

Somebody can try to download this crap and get viruses/adware on his system.

Bad idea really, at least these links need to be removed from this forum.

The problem with that is that you get silly people like me who read on and wonder what happened.

TL;DR version:

Toast found a few links on YouTube of people hacking PA and offering access to the free version. More than likely a half-arse phishing scam to get emails and passwords.

He made the thread as a public service, and to inform Uber. Didn't really do anything wrong, just reacted a bit strongly for what it was.
