Basically, the game seems interesting to me, but the pricetag seems a bit too low for a quality game.

From what I've gathered, the game looks a lot like TF2 and Global Agenda, both of which are good games. Any key similiarities/differences?

Is this one of those games that you play for a month and forget, or is there some longevity into it?

Paid content. If I purchase the game, I don't want to buy regular DLC's just to be able to compete. Will there be any?

Skill/Knowledge required. Do I have to have a great aim to compete, or can one be succesful with mediocre aim?

Basically just tell me wheter I should buy the game or not.

Yep, this is definately the place to ask for unbiased opinions.

I suggest you take a look at the different reviews made for the game (IGN etc), this will give you a basic idea of the quality of the game ;)

The price is actually really cheap in regard to the content of the game, the fun it provides and the commitment of its developpers

I'm not at all normally a fan of FPS. I play League of Legends, I play MMOs, I play Civilization and what I don't play is FPS. Repeated rave reviews got me to try the demo just long enough to be prepared to sneer at MNC.

...well, when the demo time ran out, I sure wasn't sneering. I dropped the cash without a second thought, and now that it's on PC, I dropped the cash again without a second thought.

MNC really is an outstanding game, and you don't have to be an FPS twitch-hero in order to be decent at it, which is another bonus.

I get bored extremely fast with games like Call of Duty. I don't get bored of MNC. Game is outstanding. Uber achieved what a lot of indie studios cannot- a great game except with high production values. It really sets them apart.

Hell, it's only 10, I'll buy it right away. The trailers got me convinced enough to get on the forums, I might aswel buy it and see for myself. I sure hope it runs on my laptop though. And gahh, I won't be at home for atleast 2 days D:

This. Once you play the game you will never believe that you got it for this price. The art work and production values are top notch, the gameplay and feel is unique and you will get some of the best support you can wish for.

You don't need mad skills to have a good time either. MNC is the first shooter I have ever played online and I'm having a blast playing it! When you get killed, you don't have to run half a mile to get back into the action. There is always something you can do for your team at any point on the map. Build a turret, push a lane and clear out some bots, play cat and mouse with the Assassins, fight over the Annihilator.

The best thing about MNC might be the unique humor it brings to the table. Listening to the comments of Mickey Cantor and Pitgirl puts a smile on my face all the time!

the game is worth 9, you will probs play for a month if that then never bother with it again, i am enjoying it at moment but it is not a patch on a decent fps, even tf2 i have played for years and still enjoy it, as it is very limited in its gameplay.

also i dont know why people are saying the graphics are great etc, i am running at 1680x1050 and the screen is stretched, i can tell cos the steam overlay is huge as is my fraps fps counter.

bottom line, a good fun game that is worth the price tag but will not hold your attention longer than a few weeks.

 I run 1920x1080 as native and ingame and I have no stretching whatsoever. Check your settings again, I'm sure something's wrong in your settings.

nothing wrong in my settings at all, not that there could be the settings are pretty simple. I run native 1680x1050, run every game in this resolution, this game is streched, looks more like 1280x1024 stretched to widescreen, are you sure you have no stretching? what are you using as a reference, steam friends notification, fraps fps etc?

    :)

Screenshots and the Steam overlay looks completely normal too. If your settings are fine you should make a post in the Feedback and Issues forum with your detailed system specs (preferably a DxDiag) and a screenshot.

Here is a screenshot from me. No AA and AF yet so it's a little rough around the edges until that's supported in the UI.

This is a game like TF2, where you buy it for a low price ($13.49 on Steam right now)
and end up getting hundreds if not thousands of hours on it. It has tons of depth and I'm sure you will love it.

The devs seem great and I bet there will be lots of DLC to come if the PC community embraces it, which I hope they do

hmmm, i think i will, although after your first reply to me i messed around with a few things, i noticed if i alt-enter to windowed mode it is not fullscreen which it should be but still widescreen but smaller, then if i change screen resolution whilst windowed to the same 1680x1050 press accept it goes full screen, then alt-enter again and it is fine, it just seems to be when i start the game. Sometimes though this method cuts off the right and left side of screen until i do it again and it works, obviously just some bug, but i will submit a dxdiag and not spam this offtopic ramblings in this guys lovely thread.

thanks for advice and help bro, see you ingame :)
