Has ever sat in the corner of steel peel arena next to their teams turret nub, surrounded by their own ice traps..I say to you,

just watch for the traps they put in the bot lanes...juice up and watch them bunny hop off the nearest edge my first 6 kill multi was against a team of turtling snipers and supports on steel peel w/ a juiced assassin. once you keep juicing up in their base they will realize they can no longer look for the easy headshots from people spawning bots or hacking turrets in the other base and just leave the game.

i hate when they're on my team because steel peel is the worst map to be spawn trapped on.

i have had problems with assaults camping and putting grenades right by the jump pad so when you land its ring out...


then if you chase them they dash and knock you off an edge

I disagree. I don't play as assault too much, when I do yeah most of my kills come from grapples and the bomb, but the primary weapon is so weak that it makes up for it.

The assault is a balanced class, in my personal opinion.

But there are always other ways around, not to mention classes such as assassin and sniper who have the upper hand when the assault is so busy staring at one spot.

I have been rung out many, many times by assault's mines. But I've also Assassinated, Gunned Down, or Shottied many, many an assault.

So really, quite balanced I'd say. Any person that continually throws themselves at (as you said the jump pad) deserves to be rung out over and over again for not being smart to plan a counter.

well theres many camping places with many regulars camp
im sure i could make a map and point out them all but then they would come here and cry and call it cheating for exposing them

I think this post could of been directed at me, if I recall I played you earlier and did this this very thing you are talking about

If you're talking LazerRazer arena, there are four classes who can get around that easily and one more who doesn't need to.

I can't think of another scenario on another map like that, so maybe you don't mean it. But if you do, it's not hard to get around it. If you're a support, airstrike in the tunnel. If you're an Assassin, smoke bomb jump up from the back side. If you're Assault, Gunner, or Tank, you can fly from the base to the center bridge and around. If you're a Sniper...Well, maybe they have an option, but I don't know it off-hand. None of these are even that specialised, so I'm not bringing up a narrow defense. It only requires a way to circumnavigate the "head-on" approach.

weak! it is so god damn strong with RoF! will pretty much beat anything at mid range, i beat gunners with the rifle at mid range, bit of jumping and floating and your gonna win no matter what, unless your just terrible at aiming which makes you play the way you listed.

i rarely use bomb as assault as i don't need it....i don't sit there camping 1 spot, if we get a decent spawn trap i might take 1 side to stop them from getting out but im constantly running back and fourth looking for anyone who got through.

So at midrange, where the Assault's supposed to be best, he can beat anything while using superior maneuverability intended for such situations? AND you've tossed on Gold RoF?
