I saw early on the in Q&A thread that there were people tossing in ideas of what they'd like to see for gametypes in the future of MNC if (read: when ) takes off and becomes viably large enough as far as an active player base to support more gametypes. So is there anything you'd love to see the dev team add one day? I was thinking earlier, in the ballpark of a CTF/KotH hybrid gametype of maybe there being a Tug O' War mode. I figure for a game as unique as MNC, ToW would be pretty shiny. Instead of having streams of robots marching to beat down the shields of the enemy team's Moneyball, you could have streams of robots heading for a massive Moneyball. Every robot that reaches it adds to the tilt factor of moving it down the path towards one team's goal or the other's. You could have the bots toiling away beneath the Moneyball as they carry the massive thing onwards. There could be a tilt bar showing which side has more bots toting it to one end or the other. The goal would be more about suppressing the enemy's bots from arriving since once they arrive at the massive Moneyball they get to live. Or give them extra armor and have them be killable, whichever works. You could even have different animations for bots (Jackbots with their big size would push, little bots could grunt underneath it like an ant colony, etc). You'd still get to have a small-ish arena since you don't want the overall distance traversed to be ridiculous (specially if you get into a back and forth). Or you could even shorten the match length time and determine the "winner" by whose ever side the massive Moneyball is on. Since you're still running around an arena map then turrets and bots are still integral as well as cover for your bots to go on their tugging conquest along with the concept of "cash, prizes, and cash!" That's my oddball thought, what are yours?
