I think that grapples should throw heavier classes less further than lighter classes. Such as Tank and Gunner would be thrown shorter than an Assassin, Sniper, etc.
You want to make the Gunner even stronger? Hell no. I see where you were going with this idea but just no way, it wouldn't be fair. I mean c'mon the Gunner and Tank can just jet-pack back if they're gonna get rung out.
They can only jetpack for a second or so. I've had Tanks and Gunners get thrown right to the edge of areas where I've thrown Snipers and Assassins clear off, I think weight may already be somewhat of a factor. Either that or they caught a break on some piece of the level. Assaults are the only ones that can really get back onto the map after being thrown and even then they're extremely vulnerable.
ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL... seriously have u ever played as a gunner.. if your being rung out, if you jet back, yes you'll go flying up, but youll still be going backwards, 95% of the time flying does crap
Assassins, Support, and Snipers also have no way of getting back onto the map. If it isn't a factor already, in terms of the gameplay there is no reason to do it now other than making the class you like more powerful.
I used to play as a Gunner.. i now play as an assassin. so no, this wouldnt be benefiting the class i play..
They do. It's not a huge difference but Tanks/Gunners get thrown shorter than Assaults/Supports who get thrown shorter than Assassins/Snipers.
Regardless, increasing the difference weight makes in throws will still just be making two already fine classes more powerful.
grapples that throw me as a tank mean im basically dead no matter what becuz im thrown so far that the classes can gun me down before i can get back even using charge to move and often before i can reach cover.
I think some sort of counter to grapples would be a nice addition. Say, you havw to give up your gold endorsement slot to the 'counter' endorsement. Then any grapple from the FRONT only will maybe flash a quick button on screen you have to hit to counter, nullifiying the grapple and maybe even dealing a small amount of damage to the opponent.
is it just me or will ppl forever find a flaw with everything?...even when its pretty much perfect just the way it is?
Yes Because nothings perfect Welcome to life! Seriously though, this section of the forum is called 'Monday Night Combat Wishlist'......
